Reason for Reading: Next in the series.

I was really looking forward to this volume as I absolutely love the new villain introduced last volume, Hagoromo-Gitsune.  (I even love saying her name!)  It wasn't quite what I had been hyped up about as even though H-G did show up to meet 'n' greet our friends, this volume was more about their actually getting to Kyoto and on the way there we are shocked to find a former friend is now fighting for the enemy.  This battle was quite awesome and even though battles are never my favourite parts of shojo, this was definitely entertaining.  The plot moves forward in this volume just a bit as it gets our Nura clan (and followers) to Kyoto and in the midst of a battle with the Kyoto clan, but more so than plot advancement this volume grows several previously unexplored characters as we learn secret facts about them which prove to be very interesting.  Another good volume in this continuously entertaining manga series.
